Getting the app:
1. You've joined the group, so step one is done.
2. Opt in: https://play.google.com/apps/testing/app.newvies
3. Install: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.newvies

If the store link says "not found," wait 20 to 30 minutes and try again on your phone. Play takes a little while to recognize new testers, and this trips up almost everyone.

What Newvies does: you follow actors, directors, and studios, and it tells you when their next film gets a release date, then reminds you before it opens. It needs a free account (email, Google, or Apple) because your follows sync to it.

What I'm asking:
- Keep it installed for 14 days. That's the part Google actually counts, and it's the whole reason this test exists.
- Open it a few times and follow a few people you genuinely like, so the feed has something real in it.
- Reply here with one thing that was confusing or broken. One line is plenty.
