Hi all,

Just wanted to give you a heads up that there is a good possibility that McGrath will present their revised plans for the former Acme site on Sycamore Street on Monday April 13 Newtown Township Board of Supervisors meeting (7:30pm). This is a regular televised meeting that was rescheduled from April 8.

Please check the agenda between April 10-13 to be sure it is going to be presented. The link is:
http://www.twp.newtown.pa.us/bos/2009/agendas_minutes.htm

You may recall McGrath presented plans back in January for a building that was considered to be too large and too tall. Rumor is the new building being proposed is not much different. The current zoning for that parcel allows for a building height of 32 feet on average. Last plan had it at 50+ feet. If McGrath gets approval for a higher building, it could impact future development along Sycamore Street with larger buildings.

Please plan to attend so you can hear the presentation first hand and give input. If they do NOT present on April 13, they may very well present at the next BOS meeting on April 22.
