Town Hall meeting for Newtown residents on Sunday February 28

Hello everyone,

 

Attached is an invite to a town hall meeting to be held February 28 at the George School sponsored by residents' group Newtown 21st Century Voice. We are inviting state and local officials to attend. This is your chance to be heard and give input on at least two important community issues:

 

1. The possible re-establishment of the R8 SEPTA rail line to Newtown

2. Whether Newtown should consider a community center

 

#2 was  result of Newtown 21st Century Voice's survey of over 300 residents last year with 2/3 of them indicating a community center was needed.
