We are pleased to announce that Newton-X 26 is now available at www.newtonx.org.
Newton-X 26 is an open-source platform for mixed quantum–classical dynamics (MQCD) workflows, covering the full simulation pipeline from initial conditions and spectra to dynamics, analysis, and data archiving.
This release consolidates the Newton-X platform around modular workflows and includes support for:
Surface hopping
Ehrenfest dynamics
Multiple spawning
Please note that the older legacy programs remain available for reproducibility, but they are frozen and no longer actively supported. For new projects, we strongly encourage users to adopt the Newton-X 26 workflows.
