Tufts Field Project: Walk audit mapping & more. Each year, Tufts University’s Department of Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning students embark on Field Projects,
working on real-world challenges with community groups, nonprofits, and
local government agencies. WalkMassachusetts was lucky enough to be
partnered with a team this year, and they’ll join us to share their
latest work analyzing walk audits: looking at audits that have taken
place, interviewing past participants, and recommendations on how to
improve them going forward. Discover how data and community observation
are being used to visualize street safety across the Commonwealth.
