In commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day, join us for a screening of the documentary “Complicit" the story of The St Louis as well as learning about the dramatic recent actions by the Canadian government.
Screening of “Complicit”: will be shown this Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 8pm, the eve of the date the UN recognizes as the commemoration of the Liberation of Auschwitz and International Holocaust Remembrance Day. We will be having a special screening of the award winning documentary film “Complicit,” which features the untold story of why the Roosevelt Administration denied safe haven to Jewish Refugees travelling on the SS St. Louis. Our very own Hans Fisher will be introducing the film as well as sharing his story as a surviving passenger and having a Q&A discussion after the film. Dr. Fisher will also share his response to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s recent apology at which he was present.
