My husband and I are sponsoring an interesting film that may be of interest to the Newton dialog group.
Persona Non Grata: The Story of Chiune Sugihara will screen on the evening of Thursday, January 30, at the newly renovated Vilna Shul in Beacon Hill.
This film is the latest and most carefully researched retelling of the story of Chiune Sugihara, a diplomat who saved 6,000 Jewish during WWII, and whose name is now widely recognized and appreciated in both Japan and Israel. Mr. Setsuo Omori, the Consul General of Japan in Boston, as well as Mr. Ze'ev Boker, Consul General of Israel, and Mr. Cellin Gluck, the director of the film, will participate.
Here is a recent interview with the director about the film:

We'll have an interesting and eclectic group at this event, and we'd love for members of the group to join us. To that end, you can use the discount code 2JEN for 20% off the screening.
Registration Here. Please let me know if you can send this information to members of the group.
Thanks in Advance,
