DR. HANS FISHER:  THE S.S. ST. LOUIS
A RARE SURVIVORS ACCOUNT

WHEN: Shabbat morning, June 8 at 9:30 am

WHERE: Temple Emeth Sanctuary

Followed by a Special Kiddush

The S.S. St Louis: The ship of Jewish refugees
nobody wanted:

On May 13, 1939, more than 900 Jews fled Germany
aboard the S.S. St. Louis. Turned away both from
Havana and, by the F.D.R. administration, from
U.S. shores - they were forced to return to Europe.
Over 250 of those aboard were murdered by the Nazis.

Please do not miss a
rare opportunity to hear a first-hand account
by Hans Fisher, who was but a young boy
on the S.S. St. Louis.
