Jason Todd has spent the bulk of the last seven years imprisoned, insane, dead, or wishing he was. For the first time since he chased Joker into Arkham, his life is standing still. Things are (weirdly) good with Bruce. Roy is amazing. Joker is dead. So, there's no time like the present to upend it all and return to the city that broke him in the first place. Sure, Gotham's an unmapped minefield of his worst triggers, a vicious hellhole with a quick temper and a wicked mean streak, but she's Jason's hellhole. And if he's obscenely, unreasonably lucky, he might come out of it with a home, a family, and a chance to be a hero again.
(This works as a direct sequel to You Wouldn't Even Recognize Me Anymore and Can I Help You Not To Hurt Anymore? You'll probably have a better time if you read those first, especially the former, but I won't tell you how to live your life.)
Episode 1 of my new Justice League series, but can be standalone. Based on Zack Snyder's Justice League and is a direct continuation to the end of Justice League, but can be any canon as it contains many references.
Following the death of Superman, a reinvigorated Bruce Wayne aka Batman alongside Diana aka Wonder Woman starts to assemble a team of individuals with extraordinary abilities to prevent A exiled Warlord called Steppenwolf from conquering the world.
After Mera saves Tony from Siberia, bringing him back home to Atlantis, to reunite with his cousin Arthur. Not wanting to face any more betrayals Tony abandons his life on there surface, making a living on Atlantis as an advisor to the King.
Meanwhile following Lex Luthor's defeat, Bruce Wayne, heartbroken by indirectly being responsible for the death of the man he loves, decides its time for a new team to come into the scene. One that will not blow up like the Avengers did. One that would have the people's priorities in mind. The one Superman would have liked to see.
Too make things harder, a alien known as Steppenwolf arrives, seeking to avenge his fallen master, and destroy the planet that lead to his death. Now Bruce must assemble his team, to fight Steppenwolf, and save the world. All the while dealing with team Cap and SHIELD, who want things to go back to how they were.
Barry has a sneaking suspicion he might not be a man. Any good hypothesis is backed up by careful research and tested by a well-designed experiment. So, in the midst of Superman's best attempts to destroy the world, that's what he'll do.
Determined to ensure Superman's ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions. The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united; Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and the Flash must save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions.
The sequel that we all deserve. Inspired by the storyboards based on Snyder's original plans for the film but retooled to filt the version of the story we got in Zack Snyder's Justice League so no Bruce/Lois lovechild.
After the events of Injustice Gods Among Us, Batman had taken a moment alone with Wonder Woman while they were recuperating from what they went through in the alternate Earth following Injustice Superman's defeat by the good, heroic Superman, the Superman that they know and love, and Batman decided to take the moment to propose to her and what happens after, would soon unfold.
Ever since the movie Injustice came out, I did not like how they killed off Flash like that. So I decided to try to start off right around when Superman realizes he accidentally killed Lois Lane and Metropolis gets destroyed. My grammar and handwriting may not be accurate. Forgive me for that.
