The RC4 Z13 Freeflex construction is based on the World Cup ski binding design. The acceleration can be felt in every turn, the heel and toe units move along with the bending of the ski as they naturally flex, allowing fast skiing and quick reaction. Featuring some of Fischer's leading technology, like Freeflex Pro and FRP, the Z13 will ensure you stay in your bindings when you want to, and release when you need them too. The Freeflex Z 13 is a high powered binding for aggressive racers that has a free moving heel piece that gives the ski an ability to flex unrestrained and spring back to its unweighted state. A lower stand height on all Freeflex bindings provides you with a better sensitivity to the snow for quicker reaction times and increased responsiveness.

Why to adjust bindings: Adjusting the binding position allows for personalized performance optimization. By sliding the binding forward or backward on the ski, skiers can fine-tune the balance between grip and glide. Moving the binding forward enhances grip, providing more traction during uphill climbs or challenging terrain. Conversely, moving the binding backward promotes better glide, allowing for smoother and faster skiing on flatter or downhill sections.

The Basic Hot Box is a treatment with a very soft wax that penetrates and bonds to your base material to minimize the amount of hand work needed to prepare a new or freshly ground ski. We use a Hot Box specific wax in our Tazzari Hot Box to maximize the amount of wax saturation.
Our Base Hardening process minimizes the risk of burning new base material and increases out-of-the-box speed for all skis. It is a specially formulated hard layer of wax applied with a low iron temp to condition the base for use with hard waxes.
