Do you have an idea or best practice to share with fellow educators who teach international business? Are you interested in learning about classroom innovations? Or are you looking for an opportunity to network with others who share a passion for enhancing international business education?
Participants in the International Business Pedagogy Workshops are also invited to submit proposals to poster sessions. These poster sessions are dedicated to expose and share cutting-edge practices in teaching IB. The workshop program will include a list of poster presenters and their topics. Top three presenters are recognized with a monetary award.

Designing the Introductory IB Course: Overview of the Global Business Environments at Indiana University
First in the sequence of 3 required IB courses at Kelley School, The Global Business Environments has been taught for over a decade to thousands of undergraduate students in sections of 180-240 students. Roberto will describe the context and structure of this introductory course. Billur is an Associate Editor of the Journal of Business Research for the Innovation & Technology track and serves on the Editorial Review Boards of the JAMS, JPIM, IMM, and IBR. She received the Best Reviewer Award from both JAMS and JPIM. She has also taken on the role of Guest Editor for Special Issues in various journals, including the Journal of Teaching International Business.
Billur's main teaching areas are marketing analytics, international marketing, and marketing strategy. She has taught both in-class and online at the undergraduate level and in the MBA program. Her teaching efforts are recognized with the Paul College Excellence in Teaching Award and the Best Online MBA Teacher award.
In her administrative capacity, Billur has been the Faculty Director for the MBA Program and a faculty fellow at the Center for Business Analytics at Paul College. She has also served as a faculty fellow of UNH ADVANCE, a program funded by the National Science Foundation, dedicated to fostering equitable faculty policies and leadership development. To apply his research and teaching expertise in the real world, he collaborates with public and private organizations where he provides consulting services related to cybersecurity projects, software development, policy compliance, data ethics, and privacy education, training, and awareness programs. Alashoor is a distinguished member of the Association for Information Systems (AIS), a co-founder of the SaudiAIS Chapter, and holds other active roles in the business and academic world. Alashoor is a member of honorary societies including Upsilon Pi Epsilon and Beta Gamma Sigma.

Dhanaraj is an elected Fellow of the Academy of International Business. His research focuses on strategic partnerships, innovation, leadership, and digital globalization. He has published in top academic journals, including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Academy of Management Review, and Harvard Business Review. He has written several award-winning cases that are used in classrooms across the globe. In his current research, Dhanaraj is studying how digital innovation ecosystems evolve in differ, how multinational companies overcome discrimination in foreign countries, and more importantly how leaders drive purposeful strategy in their organizations.

He has also served as an independent board member in public companies with experience and expertise in marketing and retailing strategy.
Cuneyt holds BSc degrees both in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and MBA degree from Bosphorous University in Istanbul, and PhD degree in Marketing and International Business from Michigan State University. In 2010, he was the recipient of the Outstanding Alumni Achievement Award given by the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
Prior to joining Georgia State University, Dr. Evirgen was the Director of Executive Development Unit (EDU) at Sabancı University in Istanbul (ranked 36th in Financial Times Executive Education Custom Programs 2023 Global Ranking,
www.edu.sabanciuniv.edu) and practice faculty member at the Sabancı Business School for almost two decades. At Sabanci University, he was in charge of custom and open enrollment nondegree programs in executive education as well as professional non-thesis graduate degree programs. His more than three decades of professional experience also includes extensive project and consultancy work with international partners. Prior to joining Sabanci University, Cuneyt was the General Manager of a leading marketing research agency that operated in Turkey, Caucasia, and Central Asia.
Prior to joining academia, Gary was an executive in international business for several years, focusing on Europe, Japan, and Mexico. The U.S. House of Representatives invited him to provide expert testimony on international business. Gary earned his MBA at the University of Washington and PhD at Michigan State University.
