Tonight, we are screening the funniest movie of this year's Portuguese Cinema Days in Berlin: "India." A father, a grandfather, a son, and a Brazilian tourist walk into a bar...
...and then they stroll around Lisbon, revisiting Portugal's past and history, attempting to find answers and meaning in their lives.
Telmo Churro's debut feature film received the first prize of the European network of film festivals SMART7.

On Saturday, we will present "My Grandfather's Demons" by Nuno Beato, a stop-motion animated feature film that tells the story of a return: a young woman exchanges Lisbon for her grandfather's village in Trás-os-Montes. However, she won't be warmly welcomed...
The film is suitable for children aged 6 and over who speak Portuguese, as well as non-Portuguese speakers who can read the English subtitles. In the same session, we will also present another animated short film: "Kafka's Doll" by Bruno Simões.
Nuno Beato will introduce his film and engage in a discussion with the audience at the end.

Hoje é a vez do filme mais divertido da edição deste ano do Portuguese Cinema Days in Berlin: “Índia”. 
Um pai, um avô, um filho e uma turista brasileira entram num bar... e passeiam por Lisboa revisitando o passado e a História de Portugal, tentando encontrar respostas e um sentido para a sua vida.
Primeira longa-metragem de Telmo Churro. Primeiro prémio da rede europeia de festivais de cinema SMART7.

No sábado, apresentamos “Os Demónios do Meu Avô”, de Nuno Beato, uma longa-metragem de animação em stop-motion que conta a história de um regresso: uma jovem mulher troca Lisboa pela aldeia transmontana do seu avô. Mas não é bem recebida...
O filme é apropriado para crianças a partir do 6 anos que falem português, e não falantes de português que possam ler as legendas em inglês.
Na mesma sessão apresentamos outra animação: A Boneca de Kafka, de Bruno Simões.
Nuno Beato vem apresentar o seu filme e conversar com o público no final.
