Arizona Diamondbacks -- Optioned infielder Edwin Diaz to Tucson
of the Pacific Coast League (AAA); announced they will activate
infielder Andy Stankiewicz from the disabled list on Monday.
Shreveport Captains (Texas League/AA) -- Placed pitcher Brian
Givens on the disabled list; received pitcher Randy Phillips
from Fresno of the Pacific Coast League (AAA).

St. Louis Rams -- Acquired quarterback Steve Bono from the Green
Bay Packers for a 1999 draft pick.
