LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) - ``Titanic,'' the most successful movie
in U.S. box office history, is also tops (Sunday) with children after
taking home the top film honor at Nickelodeon's 11th annual Kids' Choice
awards. Actors Will Smith, Alicia Silverstone and the young singing
group Hanson were also recognized at the awards, which were determined
through ballots cast by more than 5 million children.

LOS ANGELES, April 5 (UPI) - ``Titanic,'' the top-grossing movie in
the nation, has added another award to its collection by grabbing the
top film honor at Nickelodeon's 11th annual Kids' Choice Awards in Los
Angeles.
The ceremony, held Saturday in UCLA's Pauley Pavilion, was hosted by
Rosie O'Donnell, with special appearances by Madonna, Tom Arnold, rock
group Aerosmith and ``3rd Rock From the Sun'' actress Kristen Johnston.
More than 5 million children cast ballots for this year's ceremony,
with Nickelodeon Online receiving a record-breaking 4.2 million votes
between March 16-23.
Top acting honors went to movie stars Will Smith and Alicia
Silverstone, and TV stars Melissa Joan Hart of ``Sabrina The Teenage
Witch'' and Jonathan Taylor Thomas of ``Home Improvement.''
Twins Tia and Tamera Mowry of the TV show ``Sister Sister'' were
inducted into the Kids' Choice Hall of Fame for numerous past wins in
the favorite TV actress category.
Hanson was named favorite musical group and also received a favorite
song award for their hit single, ``MMMBop.'' Favorite singer and dresser
honors went to rapper Sean ``Puffy'' Combs, who celebrated the birth of
his second child last week.
Kristi Yamaguchi and Michael Jordan were named favorite athletes,
while Jordan's team - the Chicago Bulls - won for favorite sports team.
``Rugrats'' was named best cartoon, ``Super Mario'' won for best
video game and ``Goosebumps: Deep Trouble II'' was named favorite book.
