Overcoming election insanity

Before the coronavirus and political insanity, my wife and I had breakfast
together and we discussed our plans for the day.
Work at the shop, work on the house or in the yard was uneventful. No masks, no
protestors, no sign of people we do not know approaching us. Life was good.
In these days of coronavirus and continued political insanity, my wife and I
have breakfast together and discuss our plans for the day.
Work at the shop, work on the house or in the yard is uneventful. No masks, no
protestors, no sign of people we do not know approaching us. Life remains good.
We found not watching what is represented as "The News" or paying too much
attention to politicians or putting too much stock in social media is a
prescription for peace of mind.
During the past election cycle, we researched many sources to understand the
issues. We participated and we voted. We are back to real life, as there is no
more that we can do that isn't just so much noise.
We don't watch the news anymore. Some might say, "You are going to lose touch
with reality". No, we are working hard to preserve reality and not watching "The
News" is a good place to begin.

I tuned out the craziness a long time ago but Facebook had my wife
keyed up and now she's ignoring it.
Last night we watched the show "The Social Dilemma". It seems to
present a lucid explanation of why people are so divided these days.
I'd recommend watching it if you haven't.

politics, just enlightening analysis and opinions that made a lot of
sense to me. Most participants worked in high levels of these tech
companies and know the inner workings.
