intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis, the
following: 1. (2 ea) Pentek Model 4285C-011 DSP Board Octal C40 carrier
board, 2 Mbyte Flash EEPROM with RACEway interface and 2. (8 ea) Model
4285P, TMS320C40 Processor with Memory for Model 4285 Carrier board. Due
to the uniqueness of these boards. This requirement has been
sole-sourced to Pentek, Inc, Upper Saddle River, NJ. Any firm believing
that they can provide the required items may submit a written response to
be received at the contracting office no later than five (5) DAYS after
the date of publication of this notice, which may be considered by the
agency. Award is expected to be made on or before April 10, 1998.
