Survey to locate additional sources for parts for the Electric Power
Plant III (EPP-III). The part numbers (P/N) for the items are as follows:
P/N 130.03.0063, Alternator; P/N 360.08.0051, Rotor, Generator; P/N
280.06.0073, Engine, Diesel; P/N 335.09.006, Actuator; P/N 280.06.0071,
Engine, Diesel, P/N K514D, Test Box 1; P/N 420.02.0078, Power
Distribution Unit; P/N 180.01.0050, Cable Assembly, Special; P/N
180.01.0058, Cable Assembly, Special; P/N 180.01.0140, Cable Assembly,
Special; P/N 180.01.0141, Cable Assembly, Special; P/N 180.01.0142, Cable
Assembly, Special; P/N 180.01.0143, Cable Assembly, Special; P/N
180.01.0144, Cable Assemble, Special; P/N 180.01.0148, Cable Assembly,
Special; P/N 180.01.0149, Cable Assembly, Special. The current source for
these parts is Lechmotoren GMBH, Altentadt, Germany, Cage D0857. Detailed
technical data for the manufacture or acceptance of these items are not
available from the Army. Suppliers capable of furnishing these items must
so indicate, bywriting to Commander, USACECOM, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-P-EC,
Building 1200W, Ft. Monmouth, NJ 07703-5023. The response must include
documentation such as test results, copy of purchase order if the
supplier was a vendor to the listed source or a statement from the listed
source demonstrating that the supplier can, in fact, supply the Army with
an item that will be physically and functionally interchangeable with the
item from the current supplier. Successful supplier may be required to
warrant that the item supplied will satisfactorily perform when used for
the purpose intended by the Army. The deadline for response is April 30,
