COVID has (reportedly) claimed 4,984 lives out of a population of 12,800,000.
That's a mortality rate of 0.03%.

Back in early January, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia was already
claiming that the state was headed toward recession. How many more have
died, and will die, as a direct result of Pennsylvania's economic crash?

Governor Tom Wolf plans to renew the disaster emergency declaration he signed in response to the spread of the coronavirus. The Democrat says he’ll veto any attempts by the GOP controlled General Assembly to terminate that disaster declaration.

“Democracies are set up in a way to allow it to move in a fast way in response to disasters, and this certainly is a disaster as both the U.S. and state Supreme Court has said,” said Governor Wolf.

The disaster emergency Wolf signed on March 6 is set to expire early next month.

He expects to renew it for another 90 days, but notes he has the option to terminate it early.

Wolf also plans to announce today, May 22, that more counties will see restrictions lifted.

He says he might even allow some to move to the green phase — meaning salons, gyms and movie theaters could reopen.
