Drupal Newsroom Cron Hook Not Working

Hello,

Thanks for a great module. I have installed it here:

http://writernia.com/newsroom

However, the newsroom cron hook does not seem to be taking. Cron is
running just fine (once an hour) but the stories aren't updating. Any
ideas?

It also appears that stories posted from my site are not getting
transmitted over to NewsCloud.com, though comments are.

Stephanie, I think Dave (our developer on the plugin) fixed the cron
bug but it might not be in the latest drop. I've emailed him for more
info and an update.

Yes, my site also falls all over itself during the cron run.

Is there going to be an update of the module? It's not available at
the newscloud spot, and the version at drupal.org hasn't been updated
for quite a while.

I'd like to use this, but have a lot of irons in the fire right now so
I'm really not in a position to help much with debugging, so I'm
wondering what the long-term plans are for the module.

I'm trying to get in touch with the developer. Haven't been able to
reach him this week but I think these things are fixed pending upload.

Thank you for your help. I tried to poke around and see if there was
any way I could fix it myself but I'm not a strong programmer and
really don't have a good grasp on how the cron hook works in Drupal.
