database or disk is full

Hi.

I got this error message:

Loading articles from cache...Error while loading feeds from database: database or disk is full

Probably my disk was full, but after making some space for cache.db, the error persists.
Is the database full? (What limits exist?)
What can I do?

I am using an older version (2.21), but I do not dare to switch versions in an
error situation.

It turned out that not the partition containing my cache.db, but the OS partition was the problem.
