Online Letter 161 27 April 2021 Dear Online Friend(s), Greetings in the Name of the Resurrected Christ, the Ascended Lord, and the Soon-coming King! Jesus blessed His disciples and apostles with 10 Post-resurrection Appearances before He ascended to His Father in Heaven (Acts 1:1-3). Drawing practical lessons from these appearances, I wrote an article, titled, Between Resurrection and Ascension, and sent it as an attachment to my Online Letter 102 of 21 April 2019. Recently I found that I didn't translate the same into Tamil. The said article with the Tamil translation is sent herewith. According to the Calendar of the mainline Churches, 4th April was the Easter Sunday. The Ascension Day falls on 13th May, that is after 40 days (Acts 1:3). Some Churches observe May 16 the following Sunday as the Ascension Sunday. The dates are not important but the fact of Christ's Resurrection and Ascension is. The attached article will be helpful for seasonal meditation. Ten days after Ascension comes Pentecost, the descent of the Holy Spirit.
