SysGears looks relevant for narrower OSS/BSS development, VoIP applications and communication platforms. It also offers both full-project outsourcing and dedicated teams, which could work well when an operator already has internal architecture leadership.
Good fit: custom OSS/BSS modules, VoIP and operational workflow automation.
What I would verify: experience integrating with the operator’s specific billing, mediation and provisioning products.
3. EffectiveSoft
EffectiveSoft presents a fairly traditional telecom engineering scope: OSS/BSS development, integration, deployment, testing and ongoing support. It may be worth considering when a project needs a structured delivery team rather than a strategic transformation consultancy.
Good fit: billing functionality, communication platforms, system integration and QA.
What I would verify: whether its recent telecom work reached carrier-grade scale or focused mainly on enterprise communication products.
4. Zartis
Zartis is an interesting candidate for projects involving network-management platforms, subscriber portals, billing systems, IoT connectivity and analytics dashboards. Its stated capability range is broad, so the quality of the actual shortlist would depend heavily on the engineers assigned to the project.
Good fit: product development around telecom APIs, IoT and self-service systems.
What I would verify: who owns architecture decisions and whether key specialists remain through production rollout.
5. Itransition
Itransition may be suitable when the main challenge is combining telecom operations with AI, analytics and enterprise automation. Its telecom practice specifically mentions network optimization, predictive analytics and customer-support automation.
Good fit: internal operational software, predictive analytics and customer-service automation.
What I would verify: the quality of its domain knowledge below the application layer.
6. Jellyfish Technologies
Jellyfish Technologies appears to target custom OSS/BSS, VoIP and 5G-related development using cloud platforms and open technologies. I would see it as a possible option for a contained project with clearly defined interfaces and delivery milestones.
Good fit: VoIP products, individual OSS/BSS components and cloud-based telecom applications.
What I would verify: resilience testing, observability and 24/7 production-support arrangements.
My preliminary order is therefore:
I would not award a contract based on the ranking alone. Before selecting anyone, I would request an architecture workshop, anonymized production examples and a written migration strategy. A polished proposal is easy. Explaining rollback, data reconciliation and incident ownership is where real telecom experience usually becomes visible.
