Hi,

I know this is more of a Windows 7 issue than an slrn problem but I am
hoping someone on this NG can help out. Using the svn slrn, Windows 7
and the Consolas font language support is more than satisfactory. But
I note that chinese language support in my current setup is
non-existent. A typical example is:

Message-ID: <287572d4-3c2c-40a2...@b25g2000prb.googlegroups.com>

which is rendered on my current setup as follows:

I suspect that this is a problem with the handling of the chinese
language under the Windows 7 console. I remember having a similar
problem that was solved by installing the 'East-Asian Language Pack'
which does not exist under Windows 7.

Grateful for any advice...

Andrew

Thanks for that Rom, I can seee that you have pointed me in the right
direction although by the looks of my initial few changes I still have
some more exploration to do :).
