linux newsreader suggestion wanted

I want a newsreader for linux with the following features: SSL
support, configurable color scheme and configurable keybindings. It
should be possible to do most of the work on the keyboard.

Tbird has SSL, you can get configurable skins with optional colors, and
just about everything has a keyboard equivalent.

I don't think you are going to have any problems with SSL and keyboard
equivalents, but I don't know whether many will have the options of
skins and colors.
