Is it possible to add custom header and current group name as his
value into retrieved article with suck?

Not sure you can do that with suck. (Anyway, you cannot with pullnews.)

A possible way to achieve what you want is to add that custom header
with a Perl nnrpd filter hook. (When articles are crossposted to
several newsgroups, you won't know from which one it has been read by
suck, though... but I imagine it is the whole point of your question as
otherwise the Newsgroups header field already has the information!)

Suck has a comprehensive filter ability to modify headers and the like. I was
looking for a page that used to exist containing excellent examples of how to
do this, but can no longer find it - but do know that I recall reading about
using it to modify headers, strip things from the Path header, etc.

"Newsgroups:" may contain multiple names while I need current
group name only.
