Fake inews for use with UUCP?

I have a UUCP link with a local Internet provider. I'd like to be
able to post news from my home machine without maintaining a full
news setup at home.

I know about the "fake inews" that comes with nn and which uses
NNTP. Is there something similar for use with UUCP, or is my
shortest path to hack the nn version?
