Could anyone tell me where I can find a list of publishers who only
publish childrens books. I seem only to get information conerning
purchasing books.

Try a search in Deja News for <How to publish books> That will take you
to the articles on that subject in the group misc.writing, probably your
best source of information. http://www.dejanews.com/home_if.shtml
