In its April issue, FUTURECASTS online magazine - at
www.futurecasts.com - presents a Book Review: James, "The End of
Globalization," providing a wealth of facts and detail about the final
collapse - during the period between the two World Wars - of the
globalization period that began in the 19th century.
*
In the May issue, FUTURECASTS will present a Book Review: Mearsheimer,
"The Tragedy of Great Power Politics," which presents an "offensive realism"
viewpoint that great power conflict is unavoidable - and predicts that the
U.S. will abandon its military commitments in Europe - that European
integration efforts will fail and Europe will once again fragment - and that
the U.S. will eventually be forced into a containment strategy against
China.
*
Also in the May issue, a Middle East Futurecast - or perhaps more
precisely - a Middle East Nonfuturecast.
