moderated group soc.religion.asatru (change moderator or remove)

This is a formal Request for Discussion (RFD) to change the moderator or
remove the moderated newsgroup soc.religion.asatru.

The moderation team no longer wishes to continue moderating. The
moderation team is willing to hand off moderation duties to new
moderators but no interest has been shown after several offers.

If no new moderation team is found the group will be deleted.

RATIONALE:
Moderated newsgroup soc.religion.asatru uses a paid service. The
moderation team no longer wishes to pay for the service.

If someone wishes to pay the fee for the commercial moderation site,
please post here and/or contact the author. The moderation team will
vett for trolls and hand over the administation of the site. No prior
UseNet expertese is needed but prior moderation experience is
recommended.

If someone wishes to put in the effort to move the moderation to a
free site, please post here and/or contact the author. Significant
UseNet expertese is required to go through this process but it should
not cost money.

PROCEDURE:

Those who wish to comment on this moderator vacancy investigation should
subscribe to news.groups.proposals and participate in the relevant
threads in that newsgroup. To this end, the followup header of this MVI
has been set to news.groups.proposals.
