The Silicon Valley Networking Conference (SVNC)
ADVANCE PROGRAM
The Conference on Technology, Architectures and
MIS Issues for Computer Networks
April 12-14, 1993
Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, CA
The Fourth Annual Silicon Valley Networking Conference (SVNC'93) will
take place on April 12-14, 1993 at the Santa Clara Convention Center.
A stellar three-day program containing tutorials, over 50 technical
papers and a half-dozen panel sessions will provide innovative DESIGN
SOLUTIONS to network hardware implementation (bridges, routers, ATM
systems, FDDI, Ethernet interfaces, token ring adapters, ISDN
interfaces, etc.), internetworking issues, system architectural
considerations, future technology, distributed computing, and network
management issues.
System designers, hardware engineers, strategic planners and senior
network administrators (MIS) cannot afford to miss this outstanding
conference. In addition to the technical papers and panels portion of
the program, attendees can select from short-course topics such as
FDDI Basics, Network Management, ATM Technology, and Protocol Design
and Verification.
An exhibits area at the conference will provide attendees with an
overview of available components, subsystems, diagnostic tools, and
software that can be applied to solve network design, integration,
and management problems. Exhibits will be open for three hours
starting at 11:30 am on Tuesday and Wednesday, and closing at 2:30 pm
on either day.
