Hello!

I can't resolve news.earthlink.com, but I see posts originating from
there.
Did they mess up with the DNS or just want to discontinue service?

NXDOMAIN as response, I think he don't have pay the renew of cloudflare,
and CF have closed their services... Or moved to .net domains?

earthlink.com resolves, so I don't think this is the case.

Nope, doesn't seem so.

Earthlink has not operated its own NNTP servers in many years. They
were outsourcing these services to Supernews (Giganews).

> Did they mess up with the DNS or just want to discontinue service?

news.earthlink.net and nntp.earthlink.net were aliased to
earthlink.us.supernews.com.

earthlink.us.supernews.com has address 69.80.103.36
earthlink.us.supernews.com has address 69.80.103.37
earthlink.us.supernews.com has address 69.80.103.38
earthlink.us.supernews.com has address 69.80.103.39

These still work, although my conversations with Earthlink support
suggest that Earthlink is not interested in continuing NNTP services
for their user-base. They're likely unaware that the access is still
operative, as removing the aliases would seem sufficient to dissuade
most users.

That looks like earthlink doesn't exist under that name anymore.
