--- end forgery post ---
Perhaps this forger is the same person as the March incidents.
Trouble is that workers within the Internet industry can easily forge
on a periodic basis and be only verbally reprimanded.
Unlike the telephone industry that has legal laws in place where
"obscene phone calls" can fetch the attention of the police, that
Internet miscreance has to settle for nastygrams by a newsgroup
news.admin.net-abuse.
Nice for the day to arrive when Internet miscreance is dealt with by a
telephone call to the Police office with details rather than a post to a
newsgroup.
Trouble with Forgeries on the Internet is that Google does not
differentiate author from creeps who forge names. So that Google author
search should be Archimedes Plutonium a_plu...@iw.net where the
author name includes the IP address.
You cannot have Free Speech when you have bully creeps who under their
own volition can spew forged names into the forum any old time they
please and not be punished.
The Internet laws should catch-up with the legal laws surrounding
telephones and where there is Police punishment for "obscene phone
calls" likewise there should be Police punishment for forgerers and
miscreant behaviour on the Internet newsgroups.
