Update 01/18/06...FSS Breaks 152,000 Visitors and 2300 Members! The FSS
Lawsuit regarding Bruns/Kirch et al, 2005-CI-19492, to be re-filed in
Federal Court once all the remedies in District Court are exhausted. The
suit filed on these two PUNKS (and defendants to be added later through
discovery) is apparently headed for Federal Court. It was a slim hope,
at best, to gain jurisdiction in the Texas State District Courts due to
jurisdictional issues, related to both personal jurisdiction and subject
matter jurisdiction. On the personal jurisdiction, Defendant's filed a
"Special Appearance" and prevailed, but this action has remedies which
FSS will pursue. The attorney for these felons, hackers, etc. could have
easily had the case removed to the Federal Court System with the costs
paid by FSS, but we believe she just wanted to bleed the slush fund
instead of conferring with opposing counsel in order to save the
defendants money. FSS really had no qualms with how the Defendants'
wanted to spend their fund and in reality, are quite happy with the
depletion of such. So, for all you big spenders, i. e., Russell Miller
and his $9.41, get ready to pony up much more for the next round! This

Kenny McCormick Memorial Medal for losing a minimum of five accounts for
abuse. I'd like to see the lits of hosts he's lost for his site, but I'll
let the FNVW worry about that when he decides whether to accept the award.
Before I make this particular nomination, I have a couple of suggestions
about other possible nominations related to it. First, this is a
spectacular self-inflicted failure in kooky combat, which qualifies
Scoville for the Special Ops Cody Purple Heart. Unfortunately, I've
already nominated Ed Conrad for that award, so I can't nominate Scoville.
Someone else will have to make that nomination. I'm sure he has enough
adv^H^H^Hfans to do that instead of me. Second, there is someone else who
might qualify for the Kenny McCormick Memorial Medal. Keep an eye on my
poasts and you'll see who I mean. I can't nominate him, either, but it
would be A Good Thing (tm) to have a contested race.
Anyway, in honor of Richard "Free Speech Store" Scoville losing at least
five accounts for reasons related to his kookiness, *cough*abuse*cough* I
nominate him for the Kenny McCormick Memorial Medal.
