Here are a few message-ids from comp.sys.unisys which appear on Eternal
September (good) but not on Paganini (not so good).

It feels strange to be pointing at GG messages as not being spam!

Would it mean that eternal-september refuses the NoCeMs from usenet.ovh but
paganini accepts them ?

In this case it means that after an update to INN INN::Config.pm
pointed to gpgv1 again (I have both gpgv1 and gpgv2 installed on the
server due to dependencies) and gpgv1 can not handle usenet.ovh's key,

And this is what I'm reminded of every time you take your petty
bickering to n.a.n-a.u:

Thanks for the explaination, it is clear.

I take that « you » as « all of you », because I am not the one who take
the most petty bickering to n.a.n-a.u. By the way, my today's post was an
innocent question, and you gave a very satisfying answer to it.

Very pretty choreography!

As the saying goes, it takes two (or more) to Tango ;-)

Newsgroups are broken by neo-nazi administrators, You rarely see
identical messages around the globe. This filtering and NoCem nonsense
should stop and let users decide what they want to see and what not. the
alternative is to have private servers where users join them to read and
post only for that server. Peering should be blocked for those servers.
Looking at it, that is where we are heading.

Users can already do that. Just use a new server that does not honor the nocems that are being sent. They exist.

> Peering should be blocked for those servers.
> Looking at it, that is where we are heading.

On the contrary, some news server admins appreciate the nocems, and express so in private communication. There will always be servers that don't use them (nocems), and that's a good thing too. It gives users a choice, which they is how things currently operate.
