My apologies to those concerned.
I'm not a professional spammer but just a little guy trying to auction a set
of watches.
I have tried to send advertisements only to appropriate NGs but obviously
missed a FAQ on the way.
I was e-mailed by the relevant newsgroup re: their FAQ and have unsubscribed
to that NG. I will not be posting any more advertisements to that NG.
I'm fairly new to all this and can only apologise for my error.
I fully support the war against spam (I get a bucket-load myself), but can I
suggest an email to the alleged offender before a posting in this NG? There
are probably a few who were just a bit ill-educated as opposed to the "Get
Rich In A Week" brigade.

Spam isn't a question of where you choose to post. Its not a
question of newsgroup FAQs or charters. Spam isn't a question of
what you say. Spam is saying the same thing too many times within
a given time period on Usenet.

automaton is issuing spam cancels against your repetitive posts.
