A question frequently asked by moderators is "How do I change the
submission address (or moderator contact address) for my group?" and the
answer is: send a message with the change information to
<moderator...@isc.org>.

This is also the address to use to submit changes in moderators. If
moderation of the group is being handed over to a new moderator, the
moderator of record should send an email to <moderator...@isc.org>
stating that s/he is handing over the moderation and giving the new
submission and admin contact addresses.

Depending on which hierarchy the group is in, you may also need to take
additional steps. For uk.* groups, also email <con...@usenet.org.uk>.

My understanding is that for uk.* all they need do is contact Control.
ISC forwarders just forward all uk.* stuff to group...@usenet.org.uk
. Control sorts all forwarding to moderators.

Is it really what is currently done?
I still read in
http://www.eyrie.org/~eagle/faqs/usenet-hier.html

"Unfortunately, due to the way that they're distributed and used, the
alias lists for moderators.isc.org cannot contain wildcard entries, so
you cannot ask them to just forward all posts to any moderated example.*
group to example.org. Each group still has to be configured separately
and each new moderated group still has to be sent to moderators-request
at isc.org for manual processing. Hopefully in the future there will be
some more easily automated system for handling this."

That's correct for new groups, Control has to ask for each one
individually. But for changing the moderator of an existing group
(which is what the FAQ is for) only Control needs to be told.
