Is there a moderator for soc.politics.marxism?
How can the group get a moderator?

It doesn't look like it. There appear to have been no posts for the
past two years, at least I don't see any on Albasani.net or
Individual.net. Google shows a post in 2008 that may have been on topic
and a ton of email spam posted in 2007, when the group may have been on
autopilot.

You might try initiating a Moderator Vacancy Investigation (MVI)
news.announce.newgroups/news.groups.proposals with the goal of having a
new moderator appointed. Realistically, though, the chances of reviving
a group which has gone at least 6 (and more likely 8) years with no
ontopic traffic are pretty slim. As far as I know, you are the first
person in all that time who has indicated any interest in the group.

See

s.html> for information about MVI's.
