Someone on the Northwest Independent Writers Association (NIWA) pointed this out:

Seeking fascinating presenters! (The Jack London)

The Jack London Bar in downtown Portland hosts regular events featuring speakers(on history, storytelling, politics etc...). in a cool, comfortable atmosphere with a full bar. It was my intent when opening this bar to offer entertainment for adults. I'm always looking for new and interesting topics to explore.

WE are especially interested in history, science and literature. Sense of humor is applauded. Please send a note if you'd like to come host a lecture.

Audio/visual: We have plug-ins for laptops, a projector, screen and great sound system.

Our room is great for groups of 30-250.
Looking for speakers whose presentations last approximately 1- 1.5 hours as well as those who have ten minute presentations. The longer presentations are for consideration as part of our weekly lecture series and the ten minute presentations are to be considered as part of a new event featuring ten speakers talking for ten minutes each that begins in April.

I'm open to all ideas.

Can we get Bill in to talk about #meljacks before his Kickstarter closes?

Thanks. I'd thought about that but I think they're all booked before the deadline. But I hope to come up with a presentation nonetheless. I'll obviously be on this topic for some time.
