Dear Readers, The generosity of our readers to the challenge grant offered by the Northwest Health Foundation has been overwhelming. People from across Oregon and Washington have sent us contributions, and I am extremely thankful. However, we’re not there yet. You won’t find articles in The Lund Report anywhere else because we tackle tough issues -- reporting on the leadership shake-up at Regence BlueCross BlueShield and the investigation into the On The Move program, which was designed to move people from nursing homes into foster-care settings. And we’re closely following the development of the coordinated care organizations under way in Oregon that will dramatically transform the Oregon Health Plan and, eventually, our entire healthcare system.
