Hey, folks!

I wanted to let you know that I have another author reading coming up on Monday, July 2nd at 7:30 p.m.

Authors in Pubs (http://portlandwiki.org/Authors_in_Pubs) comes the Jack London Bar—beneath the Rialto Pool Room (529 SW 4th Ave.)—every first Monday of the month for live music and readings by a diverse collection of Portland writers. There's a bar and full kitchen service for those who'd like to make a night of it.

I'll most likely be reading from my YA/urban fantasy novel, "Valhalla"—and I promise, I really am working very hard to get the second volume out soon!—but there's the off-chance I'll read an essay or even a selection from "Iduna's Apples" or "Rhythm" instead.

I'd love to see you there!

-- Jen

Can anyone walk up and read, or is there some kind of request /
invitation structure? I know a number of authors who'd love to do
that. I might even spew one of my ranty blog posts. ;-)

You do have to make arrangements with the organizer well in advance—usually at least a month ahead of time.
