AGENDA
(notes taken by Esther)

tabling
Punk rock takeover
business cards
September Calendar
- distribution
Queer Fitness
Printing literature (correct phone number)
Kids Calendar
Feret Neighborhood Center
Library

TABLING: Saturday in Central City, "Glenda" invited us to an event in Central City, a school supply giveaway. Is it worth it for us to go table? Pluses and minuses. Aviva and Esther will go for maybe two hours? We will stop by Hilary's work and pick up literature on Saturday. Aviva has to check back in with Glenda.

PRT: It starts at two, we should try to get there for two. Hilary will bring snickerdoodles. Carmen might make something. 1632 clio. Bring the literature, tablecloth, apparatii to attach tablecloth.

BUSINESS CARDS: we have business cards, they are the same design as the iron rail, who cares. $7 of money to get them shipped.

SEPTEMBER CALENDAR: Esther can do the paper calendar, Hilary can print in a small batch. Aviva is doing the Online one. We are not complete with this yet, but want something for the PRT.
re: DISTRIBUTION: Carmen says she hasn't made it everywhere where she was gonna distribute calendar, and she wouldn't have had enough anyway.

QUEER FITNESS: has emailed us, we will send it out in an email this weekend.

KIDS CALENDAR: The library has a ton of stuff for kids. Should the stuff they have for teens (video games, etc.) be on the calendar? Hilary says yay. We will put them on the calendar.

FERET NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER: We haven't heard anything back from them about using their computer space, or volunteering.

LIBRARY: Kate had been talking about putting a presentation together, but since she's out of town, we don't have anything concrete. We should make solid plans, give them a month notice.

AVIVA IS LEAVING IN THREE WEEKS!

We should do a potluck in September -- ahead of time. Washington Sq Park?? Afternoon? September 15 -- tentatively, one o'clock maybe?

aviva -- get in touch w. glenda, blog + fb about PRT + queer fitness, leah from Feret
esther -- format paper calendar + email hilary, table on saturday, print out more calendars next week.
hilary -- print small batch of literature, remove ASL class, make snickerdoodles for sunday, talk to paul when he gets into town.
carmen -- will go check at iron rail, maybe come table on saturday, make something for sunday
natalie -- will come table with us on saturday + sunday

Hi guys,

It is Frank aka YasIn. I'm hoping to come to a meeting next week (just got back into town last Saturday). Anyway, I'm the new Community Organizer at Freret and was wondering if folks prOposed a class or whatnot. Next week I can explain the situation at hand + I need to drop off some class proposal forms.

Peace, love, and other hippie shit,
Frank

yeah frank! good to have ya back buddy! I'm in New York so I can't give you any forms but it would be great to get some over to the neighborhood center.  Im confused as to what you mean by if 'folks proposed a class" are you asking if we still do class proposals? If that's your question, yes, we still have class proposals. To my understand they are still pretty much the same as the ones you remember. We have a strict due date of the 15th of every month, so we can have an accurate and up to date paper calender. Meetings are thursdays at 6:30 at floras. Ill be seein ya in September! Thanks Frank,

Kate Smash
