Hello,

At the Freret Neighborhood Center we are still looking for volunteers and donations for our annual Halloween party. We are especially looking for musicians (child-friendly please), jugglers, stilt walkers, performers, face painters, etc. However, we could really just use a hand. The party is one the 30th from 3:30pm to 6:30pm and we need 100+ volunteers to help thousands of people from Freret, Milan, Broadmoor, Central City, etc, move through our center and amazing block party.

In terms of donations we need donations of candy, costumes (to give away to kids), food, etc, for the event. Volunteering is a great way to get know the Freret and Milan communities. Our volunteer orientation is on October 24th, 2012. If you can't make it to the volunteer orientation or if you have any question then please feel free to e-mail Yasin Frank Southall, Community Organizer, at yasins...@nhsnola.org. You can also reach him at 504-373-6403.

Sincerely,
Yasin Frank Southall
