Pastel Portrait Artist, Kurt Kuhl died last week. He was, I believe,
83. A self taught artist, and a native of Germany (I believe), he
worked on Jackson Square, doing portraits, for decades.
He was probably not known in gallery or art circles, but only to the
thousands of people whose portraits he made.
