Dear NEW.Mech Community,
We are excited to announce the official return of the annual New England Workshop on the Mechanics of Materials and Structures (NEW.Mech)! After a two-year hiatus and last year’s off-cycle event, NEW.Mech gets even stronger: starting this year, we will have a half-day workshop in Spring and a full-day workshop in Fall.
The upcoming 11th NEW.Mech Spring workshop will take place on Friday, May 26, 2023, 9:30am-3:30pm, at Northeastern University. NEW.Mech aims to bring together the New England Mechanics community to explore new directions and share the latest advancements in the mechanics of materials and structures. As in past years, the workshop is completely free of charge. We will be featuring invited talks and contributed teaser talks from students and postdocs.
