Dear Yaggies,
We have some exciting Yaggies events planned for the next few months.
1. Mass & Munch: Sunday, January 31; 6PM
Come join us for fellowship as we gather for the 5pm mass on January 31st and head to dinner at a local restaurant afterwards. Find us outside in front of Newman after mass.
2. Bishop Robert Barron Catholicism: Every 3rd Saturday of each month at 7PM in the Newman Lounge starting Feb 20th
We are introducing a new series event where we will watch one episode of the “Catholicism” series each meeting starting February 20th. Come journey with the Yaggies and Bishop Robert Barron as we discover and learn more about our Catholic faith. Popcorn will be provided!
3. #Newmanvillage Chinwag: Thursday, February 11; 6:30-8:00pm in the Hecker Room
Co-hosted with the Student Ministry Team, Yaggies presents a forum on marriage and dating. We will be featuring dating couples and married couples, who will talk about their relationships and give us insight into the ins and outs of Catholic relationships.
4. "How to Fashion": Sunday, February 21; 7PM
Yaggies is hosting a "fashion panel" for our Cal students and young adults! What does it mean to dress "business casual"? How do we dress modestly in today's society? What is acceptable for mass on Sundays? These are all questions we will address in this panel. Bring your questions too! We will feature some very fashionable panelists!
5. Religious Life Panel: Saturday, March 5; 7PM
Ever wonder what a life as a priest or sister is like? Ever wonder how all the different religious orders differ? Well this is your chance to find out! We will feature several religious from different orders. Bring questions that have been on your mind.
6. Spring Hike & Picnic @ Joaquin Miller: Saturday, April 9; 9AM
We will meet at Newman at 9AM and head over together for a morning hike and lunch picnic. Smell the sweet spring air on the hike with great company and enjoy a delicious sandwich for lunch. Bring sandwich toppings to share for the picnic. Bread will be provided.

YAMMS Young Adults SWING DANCING!: Saturday, February 13
We'll have lessons and it's going to be awesome! Bring a friend or come solo! Dance partner not required...we'll find you some! We will have signups later for helping out, but mark your calendar now! You won't want to miss this one!
