Yaggies - Summer Events

[Newman Yaggies]

Hello Yaggies,

The semester is over, and it's time to look forward to our Summer Events!

Hike @ Redwood Regional Park

28 May Saturday 9:30am-12:00pm

We'll start off the summer with a hike among redwoods in Oakland. We plan to meet at Newman at 9:30am, and carpool together. We should be done in time for an optional lunch.

Taize & Beer

10 June Friday 7:30pm-10:00pm

Join us for Newman's Taize Service, followed by drinks somewhere in the area. We shall meet outside the church as soon as Taize is done (around 8:30pm).

Monterey

8 June Saturday 8:30am-6pm

We're going to do a day long trip to Monterey! We shall meet at Newman at 8:30am, and carpool to Monterey. We plan to visit the Mission, the Aquarium (depending on interest), and hang out by the beach. We shall also stop for lunch. Please RSVP on the link here, and let us know if you can drive or need a ride (please bring $5 for your driver).

Walt Disney Family Museum

9 July Saturday 9:00am

Join us to explore this little gem in the Presidio. General admission is $20 (the student rate is $15). We're going to meet at Newman at 9am, take BART/Muni to the museum, and grab lunch in the area before heading back to Berkeley.

UC Botanical Garden

23 July Saturday  1:30pm

Join us for a post-lunch walk in the beautiful botanical garden in Berkeley. We shall meet at Newman at 1:30pm, and carpool together.
