Hi All!
First, I want to thank the development team and tell them "keep up the
good work!" I want to do anything I can to help.
here is a link to a youtube vid of my old room in Lively, if anyone is
curious.

I fully understand that Alpha software is buggy; that is OK. I know
that bug reports are important to developer - I'm not complaining.
Here's a list of some things that don't seem to be working correctly
or need better documentation:
* account creation; password length. When I created my account, it
kept telling me the password was too short, but did not offer to tell
me the minimum length. I finally figured out it needed a minimum of 12
characters using trial and error. Please put the minimum-length info
on the "sign up" page.
* Can't change my password. After I login, I can't find the links to
change my password. I really don't want to leave it at the default
value.
* Install problems: on all the computers on which I have installed the
newlively client, I have to install it twice. The first time it says
it is finished, but when I launch FireFox and click on a room, it
complains I need to install the pugin. Firefox then says I have to
"manually" install the pluging, but clicking on that link just brings
me to the lively client download again. After downloading it a second
time, I am able to enter rooms.
* Once in a room, I cannot "walk" my avatar; I can only jump to
places. If I click on the avatar and move the mouse, it just alters
the viewpoint, instead of walking the avatar. Right-clicking the
avatar does not bring up a NewLively menu, it just brings up the
firefox right-click menu that one would get if one clicks anywhere on
a page in FireFox.
* Only one male avatar! Darn. Is there anything I can do to help?
I'm willing to learn the language that is used to create objects; just
point me to the tools I need and I will get to work!
Again, thanks and keep up the good work!
Raarghh
