User interface changes?

One problem I had with Lively is that the user interface was
relentlessly third person. It was very difficult to be in the
avatar... it really needs an over-the-shoulder view.

Also, chat bubbles make it really hard to follow a conversation, and
the chat log takes up a lot of room if you open it.

I haven't downloaded New Lively yet (no time!), is the user interface
still fundamentally the same as the original?

we have make some changes to the user interface and will make more to
improve the user experience. it is still in alpha stage now, will be
better and better. we'd like to hear your suggestions.
