This summer, the Houston Symphony presents a program representing freedom including Aaron Copland's  Fanfare for the Common Man and  Lincoln Portrait (narrated by Mirron Willis) as well as works by John Williams, Beethoven and more. Also on the program is Lan Kui Han's Qilian Rhapsody, a concerto for Pipa, featuring Sugar Land's own Chinese traditional instrument virtuoso Changlu Wu. Don't forget to arrive 45 minutes early for the Symphony's Instrument Petting Zoo.
