Present: Shirin, Pouya K, Maryam, Mina, Leila, Bahram, Saeed, Majid

Koocheh:
  • Website development is behind schedule holding back other campaigns. Milestones are expected to be reported by Pouya A. We do not know the start date of the project yet however the length is estimated as two weeks.
  • Budget estimation for the PR campaign is not finished.
  • We had a little discussion about the trailer. More brainstorming needed.
  • Pouya K brought up the issue about the theme of the festival. He thinks "Home vs. Away" is too broad a theme to be used as a guideline for audience targeting and approaching sponsors. We had quite long discussion without much results. Leila and Pouya K are going to meet in order to further discuss the concerns. Koocheh members are asked to submit what they think on basecamp.
  • We agreed to have an agenda for our next meetings and check items off after discussing each to better track the progress. Agenda is to be produced by Majid using the minutes.
  • Leila is going to produce a short letter to approach potential sponsors for more info. Leila, you can use the form (for SFPIRG grant) I sent you to see what kind of info we need to give in the letter.

Suggested agenda for next meeting (send your comments):
  • Discussing the website progress and making sure its going well
  • Budget estimation
  • Trailer Brainstorming
  • Review the short letter for sponsors

NWS:
  • Volunteers are going to be called for promoting and organizing June 6th event by Majid (Volunteer coordinator)

cheers,
Majid

Dear All,

As I told before I contacted the FILM Magazine in Iran and they answered that they can put our advertisement in their INTERNATIONAL version so we should get a pdf version of our poster and our goal and send it to them later.

Cheers,
Pouya
